El evento fue organizado por el estudio Cervieri Monsuárez, la Cámara de Lucha Contra la Piratería y el Contrabando (CALYC), y la organización «Lo falso te queda mal».
El miércoles 20 de mayo de 2020, en la Sala de Actos del Edificio Central de la Dirección Nacional de Aduanas, se realizó el Seminario de Capacitación sobre Propiedad Intelectual para funcionarios de Aduanas.
Según publicó la Dirección en su página web, en la capacitación las instituciones participantes fueron representadas por el Director Nacional de Aduanas, Cr. Jaime Borgiani, el Gerente de Control y Gestión del Riesgo de la DNA, Ing. Diego Casella, la Dra. Virginia Cervieri, Presidenta de la Cámara de Lucha contra la Piratería y el Contrabando (CALPYC) y el Sr. Enrique Caride, Presidente de la Asociación Argentina Antipiratería.
Para comenzar el evento la Dra. Cervieri realizó una breve presentación del seminario. Al terminar su intervención, el Sr. Caride dio la bienvenida a los participantes y agradeció la concurrencia.
Luego fue el turno del Ing. Casella, quién aseguró que su Gerencia está trabajando con otros departamentos para mejorar el accionar en los mecanismos anticorrupción.
El Cr. Borgiani cerró la oratoria inicial, destacando que, en lo referente a Propiedad Intelectual, es necesario trabajar en conjunto con el sector privado para identificar la falsificación o ilegalidad de un producto. Agregó que la “Aduana está comprometida” para combatir esas ilegalidades.
